The truth is, we have to navigate our way successfully through families to help most dogs. And the truth is, when we help dogs, we also help their families. This course examines the interrelationship between dogs and families and gives students the ability to assess essential family dynamics relating to 1) the stage of the family lifecycle; and 2) family rules and roles that effect dogs; It introduces some characteristics that are essentials to effective leadership of families.
